APPLICATION&FUNCTIONLanreitide is used to treat acromegaly, a hormone secretory tumor caused by pituitary and non-pituitary hyperplasia, and a neuroendocrine tumor, especially a benign tumor and a VIP tumor-induced syndrome. In the United States and Canada, lanreotide is only used to treat acromegaly.
